In need of a .edu email address?

• Your .edu email address is your VUXUsername (username@myvu.vinu.edu). This email address is linked to your preferred email address. Any emails sent it this .edu email address will be forwarded to your preferred email address. In order to change your preferred email address please follow these steps. 

• Make sure that your preferred email address is up to date.

• • To do this go to vinu.edu, and click on the VUX link
    
    
     
• Next you can either click on the Self-Service card that is on your dashboard, as shown below.
  
  
• Or you can search for the card by clicking the 2 lines shown here.
  
  
• Then Discover
  
  
• Then type Student Self-Service and the card should pop up as shown below.
  
  
• Once you have clicked on Student Self-Service, click the 4 squares as shown.
  
  
• Then click the arrow next to Banner.
  
  

• Next Click the arrow next to personal information.

  
• Next Click Preferred Email Designation.
  
  
• This will open the Preferred Email Designation/Confirmation box. This will show what is listed currently as preferred and offer an opportunity to change it if needed.
