VUX Dashboard Components & Navigation

• When you first log into VUX you will be presented with your own dashboard (dashboards layout will vary based on users and their roles).

 

 

• In the top left you will see a three line menu (sometime called a hamburger menu). This menu contains links to resources within VUX. Click here to learn more about the hamburger menu and it's contents.

 

 

• Next to the hamburger menu in the upper left hand side of the site is the VUX icon. Clicking this from anywhere within VUX and it will take you back to your dashboard in VUX.

 

• In the top right of the website you will see two icons. One is a box with a check mark and next to it is a bell icon.

 

• The box with the check mark is the calendar and tasks icon. When you click this icon you be presented with the university calendar and tasks assigned to you through the Ellucian Intelligence Process system.

 

• The bell icon next the check box is the notifications icon. If you have any pending notices such as cards being pushed to your dashboard or tasks assigned to you the icon will turn red. Clicking it will show the notification.

 

• Next to the calendar and notifications icons you'll see one more icon. That icon is your personal profile icon. Clicking this will take you to your personal VUX profile that will display your personal information.

 

• Finally the blue button found near the bottom of your dashboard labeled "Discover More" is the discover more button and it will take you the discover more menu where you can find more cards to add to your dashboard. Click here to learn more about adding cards to your dashboard.
