Getting Started with Gemini Gems

A Gemini Gem is a custom, personalized version of the AI that you can tailor to act as a specialist for specific tasks or topics. By providing unique instructions and goals, you can create a "mini-expert" like a coding partner, a creative writing coach, or a meal planner that remembers exactly how you want it to behave. These Gems allow you to streamline your workflow by bypassing the need to repeat complex prompts every time you start a new conversation.
 

1. In the upper left hand of Gemini, click "Gems"
2. You are now in your "Gem Manager". This is where you can manage all the Gems you've created. Select New Gem
3. Provide the instructions you want the Gem to adhere to when you talk to it. 
   1. Once saved, you can select that Gem from the Gem Manager.
