Why clear your Cookies and Cache?

Your web browser uses a cache to store copies of web pages to speed up loading times. However, sometimes these cached files can become outdated or corrupted, leading to unexpected behavior. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies removes these old files, ensuring that your browser loads the most recent version of each webpage.

How to clear your web browser's Cookies and Cache?

If you are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you can clear your cookies and cache with a quick keyboard shortcut.

  1. Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
(If on a Mac press Command + Shift + Delete).

  3. A window should open up titled "Delete browsing data"

  4. There should be a drop down box labeled "Time range", click that box and select "All time". This ensures that the browser deletes all cache and cookies.

  5. Finally, click "Delete data".

  6. After this, restart your web browser and you are good to go!
