How to submit an assignment in Blackboard

• Log in to VUX and Click on the Blackboard link

  
   

• Click "Courses" on the Base Navigation menu. 

  
   
• Click on the assignment link that you will be submitting. For this example, I will be submitting the Chapter 14 assignment
  
   
• You have one of two options, Create a Submission, or upload files. Add comments is there if you want to leave a note to your professor.

• If you choose create submission, a text box will appear. You can use this to type in your submission. This is great for writing paragraphs or assignments less than one page.  

  

• The second option is to Upload files. This is a great option for pictures, essays that are longer than one page, and files like spreadsheets. 

  • 

    ​​​​​​Clicking Browse Local files will allow you to upload a file that is saved to your computer. 

  • Clicking Browse Cloud Service will allow you upload a file that is saved on a cloud service, like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
