Course Improvement Plan

Improvement-focused Evaluation
Description: Overview of improvement-focused evaluation process, what it’s about, why it’s important and what it means to faculty and supervisors. To include:
- Overview of importance of reflective teaching
- Overview of importance of growth-mindset
- Overview of importance of mentorship and resource identification
Tools/Techniques/Process
Description: Overview of components of faculty evaluation (Survey Dig, Adjunct Faculty Evaluation form, Course Improvement Plan, Professional Growth Plan) to include:
- Discussion of the purpose of each tool and how it fits within an improvement-focused evaluation process
- Discussion of how the pieces fit together and drive the completion of each other (ie. Survey Dig informs the Course Improvement Plan which in turn informs the Professional Growth Plan) for an intentional reflective process
- Utilizing a strategic approach to the documents
- Expectation and importance of quality completion of the forms
- Opportunity to ask questions

- Opportunity for faculty to retrieve and print their own Survey Dig Aggregate report with facilitators acting as trouble-shooters
