Why is checking my Spam Folder important

• Our email filters here at Vincennes University work hard at protecting everyone from harmful and malicious emails but it's not always perfect.

• Sometimes it can mistake a legitimate emails for a malicious ones, which is why checking your spam folder is so important to keeping on top of your emails.

How to check your Spam folder in Gmail

• First Log into your vinu.edu Gmail account.
• From the Gmail home screen click the more icon as seen below (If the Spam folder is already present please skip this step).

• Click the spam folder on the left hand side of the home screen.

• This will be where you view emails that either you or Gmail has flagged as Spam.
