What is RAVE?

• Vincennes University has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to provide an emergency alert system, capable of delivering messages to your preferred email address and your mobile phone on file with the university. This service is available to you at no additional expense. (Note that your cellular phone provider may charge a per-text message fee for the delivery of emergency notifications to your phone).

• All currently registered students and actively employed employees are automatically enrolled and you will receive an email with your username and password within 24 hours. Upon receipt of this email, we encourage you to login to E-alert (aka. Rave) and confirm your notification preferences. If you cannot locate this email, go here: https://www.getrave.com/login/vinu and simply click on the 'forgot username and password' and the system will provide it to you electronically. Additionally, you can opt-out of the mobile text messaging anytime by simply responding with 'STOP', you cannot opt-out of email notifications at this time.
