What is Web Print?
Web Print is a browser‑based service that lets you upload documents for printing from any device, whether you’re on campus or off campus. It’s designed for quick, simple printing without needing to use a University‑managed computer.

How to Sign In
Web Print uses the University’s Single Sign-On (SSO) via the Central Authentication Service (CAS).
- If you’re already signed in to VU‑X, Web Print will authenticate you immediately upon clicking the "Login using VU SSO" button.
- If you’re not signed in yet, you’ll be redirected to the familiar CAS login page to authenticate.



Submitting a Document to Print
- Sign in to Web Print.
- Open the Web Print tab.
- Select Submit a Job.
- Enter the number of copies.
- Choose Upload Documents.
- Add your file by dragging it into the window or browsing for it on your device.
- Your file will appear above the upload box after is has been selected.
- Select Upload & Complete.
- Your job will appear back on the Web Print tab with its status.




Release Your Print Jobs
After submitting your document through Web Print, you’ll need to release it at a PaperCut Release Station.
- Go to any location with a PaperCut‑enabled copier (release station).
- Sign in using either:
- Select your print job from the list.
- Choose Print to release it.

Supported File Types
The full list of supported file types can be seen on the Upload screen.
- Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- PDF documents
- Common image formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF)
- Text files (TXT, RTF)
- XPS files
