Communications Request

Focused communication involves delivering information in a direct and streamlined manner, minimizing distractions and ensuring clarity. When a single mode of communication is utilized, it may unintentionally limit accessibility for individuals who prefer other formats, such as verbal discussions, written documentation, or visual presentations.

Not supporting diverse preferences can lead to misunderstandings, reduced engagement, and overlooked details, as individuals are forced to adapt to formats that may not align with their cognitive strengths or work styles. By not accommodating varied communication needs, organizations risk alienating team members, reducing productivity, and missing opportunities for more effective and inclusive collaboration.

To address these potential barriers to communication, Vincennes University offers multiple methods of communication.  Below are the communication tools offered to assist university stakeholders with providing a variety of communication methods.
